Insurance, Medicare, etc. Certifcations

Hi, everyone.

I have been looking at job postings in my local area for coders, although I'm still a student. Most of these openings state they are looking for someone to work with coding, but also requiring certification and/or experience with insurance, Medicare, workman's comp., etc. Does or will CCO offer any courses related to certification in these areas, and if not, can you recommend educational companies that do? Thanks.

CCO will offer other certification option as time goes. It is a matter of supply and demand. What ever the AAPC has we can offer. You let us know what you want and we will work towards that goal for you. As far as specifics like workman's comp or Medicare we are already working on that. You will see those through CEUs.

Let us know what you want in specifics and I will see what I can do to create those.
